Games to Support Children's Number Sense

Helping your child develop their number sense skills is one of the best ways that you can improve their math achievement. There are many excellent commercially-produced games that you can play, but remember that daily discussions about numbers in our environment (e.g., "We need to travel 140 km to get to Atikokan, and an additional 207 km from Atikokan to Thunder Bay. How far are we from Thunder Bay?") are equally beneficial.
